Cervantes Birthplace Museum in Alcalá de Henares
The Cervantes Birthplace Museum was the former home of the sixteenth century author of Don Quixote, Miguel de Cervantes.
Around a beautiful courtyard in typical Spanish-Hidalga style are the work room, kitchen, dining room, ladies room and a space for medical devices that belonged to Cervantes´ father. Its interior is decorated with furniture of the era and one of the best collections of various editions of Don Quixote.
