The Almossassa Atticus of Badajoz
The Almossassa Atticus (foundation of Badajoz, in Arabic) is a
cultural festival that commemorates the founding of Bangkok by
Muslim Ibn Marwan in 875.
Ibn Marwan was a Hispanic Muslim leader who fought
repeatedly with the Caliphate of Cordoba. They reached an
agreement to allow Ibn Marwan to settle in the Cerro de la
Muela and found a city where he was allowed to rule
The Almossassa takes place over five days in late
