Calahorra Tower of Cordoba
The Calahorra Tower (Torre de Calahorra, in spanish) is a stronghold of Islamic origin conceived as entry and protection of the Roman Bridge of Cordoba. The tower stands on the left bank of the river Guadalquivir.
It now houses an audiovisual history of the tower. This museum presents an overview of the cultural heyday of medieval Cordoba, the ninth to thirteenth century, based on the coexistence of the Christian, Jewish and Muslim communities.
