Julio Romero de Torres Museum in Cordoba
The Julio Romero de Torres Museum consists of six rooms in which are exhibited the works of this famous Cordoban painter, who was born in 1874 and died in 1930. He was the most popular of the representatives of the Andalusian style, and one of the most sought after portrait painters in Spain and Latin America.
He was a painter of unchangeable personal style, influenced by the masters Raphael and Leonardo da Vinci. A unique painter of the female figure, every room allows you to admire the depth and mystery of the world created by this master of the art.
It is one of the most visited museums in Spain and exhibits works such as "The chiquita piconera", "Viva el pelo", "Naranjas y limones", etc, from the private collection of the family, as well as portraits, photographs and publications alluding to the painter.
