Roman Baths of Gijon
The Roman Baths built at the end of the first century AD are considered, as a whole,the most important Roman ruins in northern Spain. Within the spa is the Museum of the Roman Baths, where the importance of the thermal baths in the Roman culture is outlined.
The museum is divided into two chambers:
Room 1. In this room the significance of the public baths of Gigi (Name of the Roman city) is explained with videos and models.
Hall 2. In this room the most significant remnants found during excavations are displayed, giving information about everyday life, flora and fauna and buildings of the era.
