Madrid has three bus stations: South Station (Estación Sur, in spanish), Avenida America Station and Intercambiador Principe Pio.

ESTACION SUR. It is located in Calle Méndez Álvaro, 83. Tel 91 468 42 00They offer both provincial national and international destinations. The bus companies operating int the Estación Sur are:

Alsa. Its network of buses covers most of Spain, even to several cities in Morocco and European countries like Germany, Andorra, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Great Britain, Holland, Italy, Luxembourg, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic , Romania, Switzerland and Ukraine.

Enatcar. Buses to Barcelona, Zaragoza, Albacete, Murcia, Alicante and ciof the Mediterranean coast.

Socibus. Buses to and from Seville, Cadiz, Cordoba, Huelva and Jerez de la Frontera

Continental. Buses from Madrid to Toledo and Granada

Auto Res. Buses from Madrid to Vigo and Benavente (Zamora).

Metro. Line 6 (stop Méndez Alvaro)

City Bus. Line 8, Line 102, Line 113, Line 148, Line 152, Line 37 and Line 58 (stop Puente de Vallecas)

Suburban train. Line C5, C7 and C10. (suburbain train lines)

BUS STATION. Also called Intercambiador Avenida América, is located on Avenida América, 9. Tel 902 30 20 10

From the Avenida de America Bus Station leave most of the intercity buses that link Madrid with the adjacent municipalities. Madrid intercity bus linesThere is also buses to domestic destinations. Companies operating:

Continental-Auto. Buses route between Madrid and Bilbao, San Sebastian, Vitoria, Burgos, Santander, Pamplona, Logroño, Soria and Granada.

Alsa. They have twelve destinations to Spanish cities such as Barcelona, Huesca, Lleida, Tarragona and Zaragoza.

The Avenida America Bus Station is connected to the rest of Madrid through:

Metro: Line 4, line 6, line 7 and line 9 (stop Av America).

City Bus. Line 72, line 114, line 115, line 122, line 200, line 204 and line N4 (stop Av America)
