Caixa Foum Madrid
The Caixa Forum Madrid is a cultural institution created in 2008, which is part of Madrid’s triangle of art (Triángulo del Arte de Madrid). It also holds temporary art exhibitions.
The headquarters of Caixa Forum Madrid is a former factory reformed by the architecture of Herzog & De Meuron.
The building is located in the southern half of the Paseo del Prado, opposite the Botanical Gardens adjacent to the Prado Museum. It is also close to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and the Reina Sofia Museum.
It contributes its great public success due to its free access, while almost all other museums in the area charge entry.
