Santiago Bernabeu Stadium of Madrid
The Santiago Bernabeu Stadium is the home of Real Madrid football club. It was built and inaugurated in 1947 under the name of New State Chamartin.
But eight years later, the General Assembly of Members decided to rename the stadium, which would then be called Santiago Bernabéu, in honor of President's Club and architect of its construction.
Since then, the stadium has undergone numerous renovations, the latest being completed in 2006. The present capacity of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium is 80,354 spectators.
