La Taconera Gardens of Pamplona
Taconera Gardens is the most beautiful park and the oldest of Pamplona.
Located in the heart of Pamplona was founded in 1830 in French Romantic style and has an area of 90,000 m2.
Among the trees we find the figure of Mari White, created in the late eighteenth century. Originally it was a source located in La Abundancia, in Plaza del Castillo, but was demolished in 1910 and only kept the statue.
In Taconera Gardens is also a small zoo with deer, ducks, rabbits and peacocks as well as remnants of the Wall and Ramparts of the Taconera and Gonzaga.
