Calixto and Melibea Garden in Salamanca
The Calixto and Melibea Garden (Huerto de Calixto y Melibea in Spanish) is a medieval garden (pre- Arabic) in which you can see remains of the ancient wall.
This garden is said to be the place where the immortal pages of the novel "La Celestina" by Fernando de Rojas, were written, hence the name that refers to two of its characters Calixto and Melibea.
In the same garden is the Garden of Visir, where the house of Bishop Paradinas was located, retaining gothic remnants in its grounds.
