Unamuno House Museum of Salamanca
The building where the Unamuno House-Museum is located in the house where the rectors of the University of Salamanca would stay while performing official duties.
For this reason it housed Miguel de Unamuno (famous Spanish thinker and writer.1864-1936) when he was rector of the university. It was built in the eighteenth century as the home of the rector, its ground floor housing a great Hall of the University Cloisters.
In the House-Museum is furniture and souvenirs of the writer of the Generation of 98. At the front there is still the grapevine to which don Miguel dedicated the poem "The vine on my balcony."
