Old Part of San Sebastian
The Old Part (Parte Vieja, in Spanish) is the second oldest district in the city after Antiguo.
According to an ancient tradition, its inhabitants are divided into joxemaritarras (those born near the Church of Santa Maria) and Koxkeros (those born near the Church of San Vicente). From this neighborhood you have access to Mount Urgull.
The Old Part is home to numerous pintxos bars where you can sample culinary art in miniature.
The Old Part houses the Church of Santa Maria, the parish of St. Vincent and the Museum of San Telmo (currently closed for renovations. Official website San Telmo Museum).
