African Film Festival of Tarifa
The African Film Festival of Tarifa (FCAT) is held every year for a duration of 10 days between the months of April or May (check the official website for exact dates).
Although the FCAT began as a sample (singular) festival, it has now become a reference across Spain and Africa. Its purpose is to raise public awareness of African cinema, thereby serving as a development tool in Africa.
This ten day festival presents short films, documentaries and feature films. Beyond the presentation of films, (or Furthermore,) the FCAT offers other activities such as exhibitions, conferences, workshops and concerts.
