Church of Santo Tomé in Toledo
The Church of Santo Tome is the most visited parish church in the city, thanks the masterpiece by el Greco: "The Burial of Count Orgaz" one of the nicest paintings of all time.
The church, founded early after taking the city by Alfonso VI, was formerly a mosque, before being completely rebuilt in the fourteenth century.
Its Mudejar square tower has two levels of openings framed by double arches, separated by a row of blind arches, separated by columns of ceramics from Talavera de la Reina.
