Synagogue of Santa Maria la Blanca of Toledo
Built in the thirteenth century the Santa Maria La Blanca Synagogue has all the characteristics of Mudejar Toledo architecture.
It was built as a synagogue but in the fifteenth century, following the expulsion of the Jews, it was transformed into a church. The main room has five naves .
In the sixteenth century it became a beaterio and Cardinal Siliceous entrusted Alonso Covarrubias the realization of the three chapels.
