Campo Grande of Valladolid
Campo Grande is a large triangular shaped public garden of 115,000 m² located in the heart of Valladolid.
Originally, Campo Grande was used as a park or, more specifically, as a garden area, dating back to 1787, although since the fifteenth century it has be regarded as an urban space of great importance.
A notable aspect of Campo Grande is the abundant bird population. Scattered over its surface are pheasantries, an aviary and a dovecote. It also has a variety of trees that constitute a veritable botanical garden.
