Stone Bridge of Zaragoza
The Stone Bridge is fifteenth century Gothic, and is the oldest bridge still in use on the Ebro. This bridge has had a very checkered history because of the flooding of the river and the vicissitudes, as well as numerous renovations. It has seven visible arches and another hidden under the street that runs by the river.
It is also called the Bridge of Lions due to the four bronze statues of lions made in 1991 by sculptor Francisco Rallo. The lions are the symbol of the city of Zaragoza.
