Description
We leave Burgos and its magnificent cathedral along the castilian plateau, barron at some times of the year, green with grain crops at others, but always austere.
(1)Burgos-(2)Tardajos: 0-10.4 km
We leave Burgos along the streets Fernan Gonzalez, Emperador and Villon Whic the river we enter into the park “El Parral” which we cross. At the end of the park we follow the N-120 for 700 metres, until we get to the junction of the road Benito Perez Galdos where we go right. We then h bring us to the bridge “Puente Malatos” which crosses the Arlanzon river. Just after we crosscontinue along a small path (see photos 1, 2 and 3). This path leads us across two roads and a motorway until the path rejoins with the already known N-120 (see photo 4) which brings us to Tardajos (see photo 5).
(2)Tardajos-(3)Rabe de las Calzadas: 10.4-12.6(2.2 km)
We cross Tardajos and take a small secondary road (see photo 6) which brings us to Rabe de las Calzadas.
(3)Rabe-(4)Hornillos del Camino: 12.6-20.1(7.5 km)
Between Rabe and Hornillos we come through a castilian plateau along paths between fields of grain (photo 7 and 8), until we get to the town of Hornillos (photo 9).
(4)Hornillos-(5)San Bol: 20.1-26.0(5.9 km)
A rocky path (photo 10) leads to San Bol (photo 11) In San Bol there is nothing more than a hostel in the middle of nowhere.
(5)San Bol-(6)Hontanas:26.0-31.0(5.0 km)
The same path which brought to San Bol leads us across similar landscape (photo 12 and 13) leads us to Hontanas (photo 14).
