Stage 6:Estella-Torres del Rio (28,8 km)
Along this stage we pass a fountain which instead of water, gives wine, it is one of the strangest points of the camino. Apart from this the only the only notable things are the small hill before arriving to Villamayor dr Monjardin and the 11.8km of countryside between Villamayor de Monjardin and Los Arcos.
1.-Estella-Monasterio de Irache: 0-2.7 km
We leave Estrella along the main street, calle San Nicolas and camino de Logroño until at the second roundabout we take a dirt track on the right
4.-Villamayor de Monjardin-Los Arcos: 9.0-20.8(11.8 km)
The camino leaves Villamayor between vineyards and ends up on a dirt path ehich continues through vast work fields (see photos 8,9,10,11 and 12). There is 11km of path, well marked and flat, but it can take a long time, especially on hot days as there is little shade. Finally we enter into los Arcos along the main street.
5.-Los Arcos-Sansol: 20.8-27.9(6.9 km)
Always to the right of the N-111 we leave los Arcos passing between the cemetery and the chapel of San Lazaro. Until Sansol we follow agricultural paths (see photos 13 and 14). At the 26.6 km (see photo 15) we get onto a secondary road which brings us directly to Sansol (see photo 16).
6.-Sansol-Torres del Rio: 27.9-28.8(0.9 km)
We cross the national road, go down a path which meets a river, cross the highway through a tunnel and go up the last hill which brings us to Torres del Rio.
