Accomodation: hostels and hotels
Tui has been declared an historic and artistic city. This is thanks to it’s strategic location. Throughout centuries Tui has been enriched with a wealthy architectural heritage which have been conserved in a perfect condition up until today.
It has a well preserved historic quarter chaired by the Cathedral of Tui (centurys XII and XIII) and also has the hotel of tourism or the hotel of San Telmo that reproduces the palatial galician architecture. The old quarter of Tio has a medieval structure with narrow streets, slopes and loads of little shops which sell remains of the wall that went round the city.
We can also find emblazoned houses due to the fact that this city dominated most of the south of Galicia, this being because it was the capital out of the seven provinces of the ancient kingdom of Galicia.
The next village, O Porriño, is 15.8 km away
