Description
If you have made the detour to the Casa Rural Vilariño, go to the road and continue on the left for about 500 meters until you reach a crossroads where you should turn left. In case that you have not gone to the rural house, you should keep straight on at this crossroads, towards Diomondi and A Cova and where the LU-P-5807 road begins (photo 1 km 0.5). Half kilometer later, you will approach another crossroads where you should keep straight on following the same road. You should pass in front of a bus stop (photo 2 km 1.0).
Following this road (photo 3 km 1.5), you will go through the town of Vilaravides (photo 4 km 2.5). Keep straight on (photo 5 km 3.5) and at km 3.5 you will approach a crossroads but you should continue on the left by the same road (photo 6 km 3.6). Later on, you will reach a new detour but you should not leave the road (photo 7 km 4.1). Half kilometer ahead, there is a new crossroads where you should keep straight on (photo 8 km 4.6). Afterwards there is once again a crossroads but you should not leave the road neither (photo 9 km 5.3).
Almost 1.5 km later, you will approach Montecelo (photo 10 km 6.7). At the exit of the town there is a crossroads where you should continue on the left, towards Diomondi (photo 11 km 6.9). After 300 meters, there is a detour on the left that is a little bit hidden, just next to a bus stop (photo 12 km 7.2). Take this dirt path that goes through a group of houses where you should turn to the right at some point (photo 13 km 7.4).
Keep following the dirt path and after 400 meters you will approach a fork where you should take the hand-right path (photo 14 km 7.8). Later on, you will find a similar scene where you should take the hand-right path as well (photo 15 km 7.9). Follow the dirt path (photo 16 km 8.2) that goes round the mountain and from where you can enjoy lovely views (photo 17 km 8.7) until it starts to strongly descend (photo 18 km 8.8). It will lead you to a paved road (photo 19 km 8.9) where you should continue on the left. A few meters further, take the hand-right dirt path (photo 20 km 8.9) that will lead you to Belesar.
If you go through the town and you will approach a bridge over the Miño River (photo 21 km 9.2). Once you have crossed the bridge, take the second hand-right paved path (photo 22 km 9.3) with a steep slope and over a dirt path (photo 23 km 9.5) that leads you to cross a road (photo 24 km 9.6). Keep straight on after the hard climb, where if cyclist have not do it yet, they may dragged their bicycles (slope of more than 20%) by a dirt path of about 300 meters (photo 25 km 9.7). Then you will reach a paved road (photo 26 km 9.8) where you should continue on the right. This road gently slopes (photo 27 km 10.2) for about 800 meters until you approach a hand-right detour (photo 28 km 10.5) by a dirt path with a steep slope. The slope stops at the river (photo 29 km 10.5) which you should cross to ascend a new really steep slope (photo 30 km 10.6) of about 200 meters.
Once you have approached the paved road (photo 31 km 10.7), keep climbing on the right and after a few meters make a detour to the left (photo 32 km 10.7). It is a way of cutting distances, instead of following the road and turn to the left at the crossroads (photo 33 km 10.9). Keep following the road (photo 34 km 10.9) that constantly slopes until you reach a detour that is poorly signposted at the height of a stone house where you should turn to right (photo 35 km 11.0).
The road, still ascending, turns into a dirt path (photo 36 km 11.1) until you reach a road (photo 37 km 11.3) that you should cross and continue on the dirt and rock path (photo 38 km 11.4). It will lead you again to the road (photo 39 km 11.6) after 200 meters. You should continue on the left by the road. Do not leave the road (photo 40 km 12.1) until you approach Chantada, although you will find a few crossroads on the way: the first is located at km 12.6 where you should continue on the right (photo 41), the second one is located at km 13.2 where there is a hand-right detour that you should not take. Instead, you should keep straight on and pass under the bridge that goes over the N-540 (photo 42 km 13.2).
Afterwards you will go through all the villages of A Portada (photo 43 km 13.5) and A Ponte (photo 44 km 13.9). The next crossroads is located at km 14.2 where you should continue on the right and then cross the bridge over the Asma River (photo 45). This way you will approach Chantada (photo 46 km 14.5).
Follow the signs of the road, from Daniel Vazquez Boo Street and turn left a few meters ahead at Antonio Lorenzana Street. There you will find the Hotel Mogay.
