Get out of Chantada by Daniel Vázquez Boo Street and keep straight on by Calvo Sotelo Street. Go through the Avenue (photo 2 km 0.2) and keep straight on until Santa Ana Square. Go through it and walk up Alférez Baanante Street. Continue on the left at the first crossroads and you will find a building in the opposite (photo 3 km 0.5). Turn right without leaving Alférez Baamante Street (photo 4 km 0) for about 800 meters and you will approach a crossroads on the left (photo 5 km 1.3) by a secondary road.
This road will lead you through Casasoa (photo 6 km 1.7) and Centulle, until it finally leads you to the main road (photo 7 km 2.0).
BE CAREFUL because in front it there is a boundary marks indicating to keep straight on but it is wrong: you have to continue on the right by road for about 100 meters until there is a new detour on the left by a dirt path.
BE CAREFUL, because the boundary mark is damaged and dropped in the ditch (photo 8 km 2.1). Follow this path that is parallel to the road CRG-2.1 for about 1.5 km (photo 9 km 2.6 and photo 10 km 3.0). At some point, there is path on your left but should keep straight on (photo 11 km 3.3) until you reach a road (photo 12 km 3.5) that you should cross to keep following the dirt road (photo 13 km 3.5) for about one kilometer and a half more.
At the first crossroads, keep straight on (photo 14 km 4.1). There is a second one where the hand-right path goes under the bridge but you should continue on your left (photo 15 km 4.6). 400 meters further, you will pass under a bridge (photo 16 km 5.0) and just after, you should turn left where the white door is (photo 17 km 5.1). This path leads you to a paved road that you should follow on the right (photo 18 km 5.1). You will pass in front of a house and you should make a detour to the right at the curve (photo 19 km 5.2).
This road (photo 20 km 5.4 and photo 21 km 5.6) will lead you to a bigger road that you should cross to approach A Lucenza (photo 22 km 5.7). Enter the town and when you approach some kind of square (photo 23 km 5.9), turn right (photo 24 km 5.9) by a narrow path (photo 25 km 6.0) that leads you again to the road. Cross the road to keep following the dirt facing path (photo 26 km 6.1 and photo 27 km 6.3) that will take you again to the road after about 800 meters where you should keep straight on (photo 28 km 6.9).
Keep always straight on without leaving the road (photo 29 km 7.1, photo 30 km 7.6 and photo 31 km 8.1) until you approach Penasillás. Circle the church (photo 32 km 8.4) and keep straight on (photo 33 km 8.5) until you cross a road and take the dirt path (photo 34 km 8.5).
This path gradually but strongly ascends (ascent of 12% although in some segments the 17% is reached) for 2 kilometers. At km 9.1 you will approach a crossroads where should continue on the right (photo 35) and straight on (photo 36 km 9.5) until km 9.8 where there is a new crossroads where you should continue on the right (photo 37).
From the top (photo 38 km 10.6), you will start a short descend until you reach the road where the memorial monument dedicated to the poet Uxío Novoneyra erects (photo 39 km 11.0). At this point, you should ascend by the hand-right road. The climb (photo 40 km 11.4) has an average ascent of 8%, with segments of 15%, for about 2 km. At the only crossroads that might be confusing, you should keep straight on (photo 41 km 12.8).
200 meters further, there is a new crossroads, but you should continue on the right (photo 42 km 13.0) (If you want to visit Alto do Faro, a big terrace where Hermitage of Nuestra Señora is located, you should keep on the left for 500 meters by a strong ascent).
Follow the road downhill for about 400 meters (you will pass a picnic area on your right (photo 43 km 13.3) until you approach the hand-right detour. The dirt path will lead you to some wind turbines (photo 44 km 13.4). At the first crossroads just a few meters ahead, continue on the right (photo 45 km 13.5) by a path that goes round the mountain (photo 46 km 15.2, photo 47 km 16.1) for about 3.5 km until you reach a windmill where you should continue on the right (photo 48 km 16.9).
Keep straight on and after about a kilometer you will pass in front of a power plant (photo 49 km 17.8) where you should descent until you reach the road where you should continue on the left (photo 50 km 18.1) for about 150 meters. Cross the bridge and make a detour to the right by the dirt path (photo 51 km 18.3) in direction of Parque Eólico Monte Cabeza (a wind farm).
One kilometer further, make a detour to the left where there are two boundary marks: one of the Way of St. James and the other of the town of Concello de Rodeiro (photo 52 km 18.7). This dirt path turns gradually into a grass path (photo 53 km 19.0). Later on, there are two confusing crossroads in which you should continue on the left (photo 54 km 19.6 and photo 55 km 19.6). The path will lead you to a group of houses. Take the hand-left road (photo 56 km 19.8) and keep following it for about 700 meters (photo 57 km 10.0) until you approach a crossroads where you should continue on the right (photo 58 km 20.5).
Just a few meters further, make a detour to the left by the church and cemetery (photo 59 km 20.5). You will approach a terrace where you should take the hand-left dirt path (photo 60 km 20.6). 200 meters further, there is a crossroads where you should continue on the right (photo 61 km 20.8) until you reach again a paved road and approach the town of Hermida where you should turn right (photo 62 km 21.5).
Following the road, you will approach a new crossroads where you should continue on the right (photo 63 km 21.6) until you reach the main road (photo 64 km 21.7) where you should continue on the left. Few meters ahead, there is a new detour on the left (photo 65 km 21.8) and immediately after another one again on the left (photo 66 km 21.8). Follow the paved path for about 200 meters and take the hand-left path (photo 67 km 22.0) that in less than one kilometer (photo 68 km 22.2) will lead you again to the paved road (photo 69 km 22.8) where you should continue on the left. After about 4000 meters, you will approach the town of Río where a hand-left detour will lead you to a small terrace with a tree on the middle that you should circle by the left (photo 70 km 23.3).
Afterwards, you will approach a square on your left but should keep going by the street between the house and the street light (photo 71 km 23.2). Just a few meters ahead, turn right by the lavadero (washing place) (be careful because it is wrongly signposted) (photo 72 km 23.4). Then you will reach again the main road, cross it and keep straight on (photo 23 km 23.5) by the dirt and stone abandoned path (photo 74 km 23.6).
This path will lead you again to the road (photo 75 km 23.7) where you should continue on the right for about a kilometer during which you will go through the town of Mouriz (photo 76 km 24.0 and photo 77 km 24.2). Afterwards you will reach the PO-301 road (photo 78 km 24.7) where you should continue on the right and that will lead you directly to Rodeiro through a long downhill straight line (photo 79 km 25.0 and photo 80 km 25.4) until you reach the main road that crosses the center of the town (photo 81 km 25.5).
If you want to keep taking your journey, continue on the right but if you want to seek accommodation and a place to eat, continue on the left, go through the traffic circle with a sculpture of a stone wheel (photo 82 km 25.6) and keep straight on. A little bit further is located the Hostal O Guerra on the right.
